Hello Everyone

As most of you probably know, I am a huge fan of the TV show Murdoch Mysteries

Based on the books by the worldwide best selling author Maureen Jennings, the Murdoch Mysteries is set in 1895 Toronto, Canada and explores the intriguing world of William Murdoch, played by the wonderful and handsome Yannick Bisson. Murdoch uses forensic techniques that are considered "out there" for the time, in order to solve some of the city's most gruesome murders.

Whilst his immediate superior, Inspector Thomas Brackenreid (played by the very lively Thomas Craig) is often sceptical when it comes to Murdoch's theories and techniques, he often has to concede that Murdoch's methods often get the required results.

Aided by his faith sidekick, Constable George Crabtree (played by the great Jonny Harris) and Forensic Pathologist Dr Julia Ogden (portrayed by the very beautiful Helene Joy) Murdoch strives to keep the streets of Toronto safe whilst bringing the bad guys to justice.

This blog is a way for me to keep everyone informed about the show, what's happening with the new series and also what it's case are up to when they're not working on the show.

There shall be a few posts over the next few days, including links to several interviews with Helene Joy, pics of the Murdoch Mysteries set taken during my trip to Toronto in November 2010 and various shots from the 2010 Gemini Awards and the Listener Charity Hockey Game, that took place on 5 December 2010.
